I guess the way I see it is that you guys do a good podcast when you stick to your strengths – Comic Books, Video Games (although I think you could use a console gamer to complement Kade), and Sci-fi. When you get too far off topic it gets really tired fast.

I love Marcus on the show, but somebody needs to reign him in. When he’s on, the panel tends to get off topic really quickly. And its especially poor when you guys start making political commentary. Really there are only one or two people that do the political commentary in a comedic fashion well – Jon Stewart without a doubt; beyond that maybe Bill Maher and Dennis Miller – but they tend to be so one-sided it stops being funny and starts sounding whiny. Hear my whole thing – Marcus can be way funny, and his commentary on geekdom is usually pretty dead on. But when you’re talking about the Feminists complaining that sci-fi women are oversexualized, and Marcus then makes a Glenn Beck reference . . . well it just doesn’t make any sense. Don’t get me wrong, Glenn Beck is a major Douche – but when Marcus references him relating to greivances with Feminists, he comes off sounding a little like a dumbass.

I’ll be honest, I used to listen to the Radio from Hell show everyday. It used to be really good, but about ten years ago its like a switch was triggered in Bill. He started talking more and more about politics. I’ll agree he’s intelligent, and while I don’t agree with him most of the time, I can respect his opinion, but I don’t listen to a morning show with a comedic platform hoping to hear liberal rants. I finally gave up and now I podcast the Kevin and Bean show out of LA everyday, because they stick to their strengths. I’m just asking that you don’t do the same to the Geekshow Podcast. There are other venues for your political views to be expressed. I realize its your show and I should just shut the hell up, but please, you’re killing something I love to listen to.

And one more bitchy complaint while I’m at it. If you want to drop the F-bomb from time to time, I can respect that. But when four of you are chanting “say fuck” until Scott finally gives in – well I thought I left that back in Junior High. I’d just like to be able to listen at work. Thats when I have time to listen. Can you make it work friendly for me?
